Autism Spectrum Disorder
There isn’t one autism but varying degrees, and each individual is unique. The term “spectrum” captures the many differences, challenges and strengths that each person with autism has. People on the autism spectrum see, hear and feel the world differently than other people. It is described as a spectrum because it presents in many ways, with each individual showing their own unique strengths, needs, and ways of connecting.
Our multidisciplinary team of Registered Behaviour Analysts, Supervised Behavioural Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Communicative Disorders Assistants, and Occupational Therapists believes that a collaborative approach is the best way to meet the needs of children with autism. As your child’s parent, you know them best, and we will work with you to support your goals and work towards helping you and your child meet their full potential.
