Halle Demchuk

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Halle is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is a member of Speech Pathology & Audiology Canada (SAC). She earned her Masters of Applied Science in SLP at McGill University in 2020, following completion of her HBSc (Biology) from Lakehead University in 2018.


Halle is a proud Métis clinician, born and raised in Northwestern Ontario. Halle started her professional career here in Thunder Bay working at George Jeffrey Children’s Centre (GJCC), providing clinical speech and language services to children in the school-age program. Currently, Halle works locally within Thunder Bay, as well as providing virtual and fly-in services to children 5-18 residing in Northern Ontario reserves. 

 

Halle enjoys working with all populations, with areas of interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). 


In her spare time, Halle enjoys camping, hiking, and paddleboarding with her adventure cat, Beth. Beth occasionally makes appearances in Halle’s virtual sessions as well!
