Occupational therapy is a profession that supports children and adults to complete their daily activities at home, school, work or play. This includes assistance with mobility and seating, home management, motor skills (movement), cognitive (thinking and reasoning) abilities, community living skills, and adaptations in the workplace. A professional Occupational Therapist (OT) first assesses your needs and works with you and your family to develop a plan or program, including recommending appropriate services or equipment, to ensure a more productive, safe and comfortable life.
Our services include assessments and treatment for adults who require home modifications due to ageing, illness or injury to ensure safety and maximum independence. We work with individuals who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents, and we are registered with FSCO for billing through the Health Claims for Auto Insurance (HCAI) system. We provide end-of-life care, home safety assessments, functional assessments and return to work assessments forWSIB. We also offer a variety of services on behalf of Veterans Affairs.
Our Occupational Therapists help adults and seniors live a full life.
